Mary's Story
I have been so blessed in my life, widowed since Dec. 30, 2003. I was married to a wonderful, loving man for nearly 42 yrs and blessed with 4 terrific children and now 11 precious grandchildren.
My life has totally changed since Lonnie's death. I was forced into finding a new purpose and path to follow as I entered my Golden Years.
To my surprise, I found that I love to line dance and now am completely enthralled in this experience. I belong to a Senior Line Dance Performing Group, we dance at community functions and Resident Care Facilities; County Fairs, Knott's Berry Farm and community events.

o live my life and so much fun too. I belong to a Victorian Tea Society. We give fundraising Tea's to help support the Kellogg Historic Museum in Santa Ana, CA.
I am also involved in the Friends of The Children's Library Huntington Beach and participate in their community events and fundraisers. I do face painting too for community events.
I enjoy going to my cabin Big Bear whenever I can get away and take a cruise when the opportunity permits. So, this is my life now, but always look forward to experiencing a new adventure.
One if the biggest surprises in my life is that I have become a book worm and into Historical Novels. Read several books each week. In my previous life magazines were my preference. Wonder what new experience I discover next.
